Sweet Treats Bakery was opened by the Gonsalves family on September 19, 2005. Dawn, the owner, baker and cake decorator, immigrated from St. Catherine, Jamaica to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at age 14. Shane came to America from British Guyana at age 17 and later attened culinary school in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Gonsalves now live with their two daughters in Buena Vista. Danielle, who is 19, also works at the bakery; and Samuria Jack, a 3yr old Cocker Spaniel-Beagle, who loves our Linser cookies.

| Sweet Treats would be happy to create your wedding cake! Please book your order early by calling to setup an appointment. A deposit of 50% of the total price is needed to hold the wedding date. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. Both the deposit and balance in full are non-refundable. Cash, checks, Master Card and Visa are accepted. If you'd like fresh flowers on your cake, please order them from your florist and have them delivered to the bakery. |
